Bill has been working and coding in the pc environment since 1979. He has had experience with a variety of applications, languages, development tools and operating systems*.
Between 1981 and 1985, Bill worked at Brock Candy company and was able to assist in the design and development of Brock Candy's first computer-based jelly cooking system. He also used early spreadsheet applications (Viscalc and Multiplan) to streamline and automate the labor intensive process of product manufacturing cost analysis.
In 1985, Bill left the candy company to work more directly in the field of personal computers. He has since owned, managed, and/or partnered in four business ventures - Emerson & Associates (1985-1991), Desktop Solutions (1988-2000), nVision3 (1998-2000) and now Technology Projects.
Bill's application development background includes database, multimedia, and internet application development. He has also provided training and consultation services for clients in and out of Chattanooga since 1985.
